AAME Academy

AAME Academy officially opened its doors in December 2022 in Petit-Goave, Haiti, serving primary and secondary school students. Our facility can hold 400 students Lack of funding has created challenges for us to provide cooked meals to our students. We believe that nourishing our students is just as important as educating them; it’s challenging to focus and learn on an empty stomach. Many of our students come to school hungry, often relying on us for their only meal of the day, and we are actively seeking funding to address this critical need. Transitioning to operating our own school has been a significant step for us.

 While sponsoring students from various schools was a valuable start, we recognized that full control over our educational environment was essential to meet our vision of providing quality education. At AAME, we are fostering a culture of a “can-do attitude,” equipping our students with the tools they need to succeed in an increasingly competitive world. Our facility requires extensive repairs, and our dedicated Director in Haiti, Sandro Jean-Leger, is working diligently to recruit qualified teachers and staff who align with our mission. 

AAME is committed to providing high-quality education, technology, and training for our staff, which will also create job opportunities within the Petit-Goave community.
